I sat around waiting for Keynote to finish uploading a video to YouTube for half an hour. It was saying "Waiting for confirmation...".
I went onto YouTube... and low and behold, the video was there! Not only that, but another video that I'd given up on after Keynote had been stuck on the same message for an hour was also there! I played through both of them on YouTube to verify there were no issues... and there weren't!
I waited another half hour on Keynote... it still had the same message. I finally just quit it.
I didn't get this issue when I first uploaded a video to YouTube using Keynote 6 months ago. I don't think any of the preferences for my network have changed... the only thing that's changed is I've updated Keynote a few times. So... the conclusion that I come to is that Keynote got some new bug in it durning an update that made it so it no longer receives the confirmation. That or YouTube's changed since then so that it no longer sends a confirmation...
anyone else have similar experiences?
Edit: Oh... and it would be really nice if you got a progress bar when uploading to YouTube rather than just the... doing stuff bar... not sure what you'd call it...
