I've seen him die on stage often enough.

It would be a shame if they didn't kill the Late Show writers too.

    More BS from religious extremists.

Hey Miuslims- if Allah really gave a **** what Letterman had to say, he'd have struck him down long ago. Now go face Mecca, and leave the rest of us the hell alone.

That'd be sad; then there'd be no one left worth watching on late night television.

Check out Craig Ferguson. He's the best late night host.

I don't mind Craig, he's probably my number two.

Aside of Craig Ferguson and maybe Jimmy Fallon, we need some new late night blood. Leno, Letterman and Conan are way beyond their best years.

Letterman said he will most likely not renew his contract in 2 years. I wonder if Ferguson will take over for him. Or would that be another time slot curse.

TBH, I just can't see Craig moving up to Dave's time slot.

Why not? He's served his time, and at least deserves a shot at it.

I bet he would blow the aging Leno right out of the water.

And although he not a "host", Jon Stewart is the best thing on cable/TV around that time of night.

And he is a Jew, although somewhat lapsed. :D

Never said he shouldn't. As I stated earlier, I like Craig's humor/ show just fine.

Oh, sorry, you can't see it happening because of the demographics/sponsors??

Personally, I don't see the audience/ demographics/ targeted viewership taking to him that well.

That's to bad. I find Craig far less superficial than Jay.

Maybe one day I will start watching TV again ....... but not yet. ;)

I agree, I just don't 'get' Leno. He just doesn't come across as sincere to me.
