I don't care which side of the isle you are on, it is sickening to see such an executive branch overreach after congress voted down this plan.

For specializing in constitutional law, it seems like he has never read the actual text of the document.

Congress took this issue up and the legislation failed to pass.

Throw the Constitution out the window to play election year games. Despicable.

(I also find it interesting that Obama is throwing African-American youth under a bus to garner the Hispanic vote, but that is another discussion)

While the irrational side of me deplores this move, the rational side of me admits that something similar to this is the only way to tackle the immigration issue.

I think it's great that the gov't is getting involved. Hopefully this will lead to a unified national policy on illegal immigration and will eliminate the need for immigration policy on a state by state basis (i.e. Arizona, Georgia, etc...)

I called my doctor and I am not allowed to participate in this thread because I do not have a sufficient supply of Lisinopril on hand to control elevated blood pressure.:(

You know you can't put a story like this on here with a fox link. If the liberal media doesn't report it, it's not real news or a lie.

So basically they're going to decriminalise a section of society and make them productive.

    The horror right?

He is acting like a king and circumventing the constitution checks and balances.

    What is "inflammatory" about that?

And Bush didn't act the same way?

You can't call out one without recognizing the same problems in your own parties or those that share your values.

Interesting how that Fox News article that you linked to "conveniently" leaves out the part about how it's a two year deferral from deportation. That article makes it seem like they can stay in the US forever.

    No wonder you're so mad.

Problem is fox new has the most errors, most spin and its viewers and readers are contently the LEAST informed what what is going on.

    It is the worse source.

I know, I know. I see that posted here all the time. Errors are one thing, but not covering a story because it doesn't make your favorite politician look good is another.

    From a much better source:

Seems like the OP should save his righteous indignation for something else and use better sources in the future. And before anyone starts with the "librool media" BS, the Trib is considered conservative.

Love this in the Fox News 'Trending' section..

    No.1
Obama administration to offer immunity to up to 800,000 illegals

Only thing liberal on that site is their definition of the word news:D

On the contrary, I think that this policy change makes POTUS look great. It should definitely be covered.

The truth, is that Fox News decided to leave out a few important facts about this story because their version is a lot more controversial and inflammatory.

What does this have to do with Bush? I guess you missed the memo but he hasn't been president for 3 and 1/2 years.

Another lie. And you don't have to look far to find out that it's a lie either, as I just pointed out in my last post.

But hey- why let the truth get in the way of a good smear?

    And you missed the point.

the point is that you can't call anything like this dictatorial (read: King) without recognizing the fact that the Reds did the same exact thing, and you were silent then.

Perhaps it will. At least they will be able to apply for work visas.

Interesting how you decided to edit my post and not respond to my second statement.....
