Newegg has the Kingston SSDNow V+ 128GB SSD on sale for $225, with a $50 Mail In Rebate bringing the price down to $175.

Just a heads up for anyone in the market! I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on this myself.

Just to add that this SSD uses the same controller as the SSDs that Apple uses so it has aggressive GC and should be trouble-free.

Anyone know if Mac OS X 10.6.7 would have trim support for this drive like it does for Apple SSDs since they use the same controller?

I have one of these for my desktop PC, and can easily recommend it. Great performance, especially considering the price.

2010 MBA uses the same controller but does not have TRIM support in 10.6.7. In Lion it has though. Apple's drives still use a different firmware so I doubt any 3rd party SSD have TRIM support.
