A battle? A fight? I hope one of them comes out with a bloody nose.

James "General" Kelly versus Jared "Diamonds" Kushner would look like one of those early Rhonda Rousey fights.

Don is going to come in and wave his magic wand over Kushner. It won't matter that nobody else would give him a security clearance.

Kelly may wind up quitting in disgust.

You can't use Rousey to try and get around MacRumor's language filter ;)

    I'd pay-per-view to watch 67yo Kelly thump 37yo Kushner

Key quote from the Times article:

Kushner does not need to see the President's daily brief. He certainly does not need Sensitive Compartmented Information, which typically is information gathered from US intelligence sources.

The problem with Kushner, of course, is that he is the same guy who sat in on the Trump Tower meeting with Russian spooks. And whose family company owes tens of billions of dollars to Russian-controlled banks.

More interesting still is why is Kelly picking this battle? My guess is that he is uncomfortable at the nebulous position someone like Kushner has in the administration. Kelly cannot directly contradict Donald Trump himself, so he is using Kushner to fight a proxy battle with an Oval Office he sees as careless, sloppy, and undisciplined.
