laptop stand or something that lifts it off desk for more desk space

I may be getting an external monitor, & space is tight on my desk, are there any stands that will lift the laptop up a little bit about 6 in or more, there will be a scanner in front & underneath, but a stand that is sturdy & secure, as I will be using the mac with the lid open as dual monitors.

Mstand, it looks nice, good height and sturdy. I guess it's a bit more expensive than other stands, but imo it's worth it.

You can always build one with wood. Another option is to check out the desk or wall mounted external monitor holders.
