I work at a school district that has about 150 eMacs in the elementary schools. They are all either 1.25Ghz or 1.42 Ghz models. I have been so busy the last 3 months calling apple care about the following issues.

1. Freezing on log in. Not fix by reimaging or new ram. Logic Board needs to be replaced.

2. CRT Flicker/Failure: The displays will flicker horribly until they just begin to spin like it can't hold the vertical sync.

Some good has come out of this. Apple has replaced 2 of my problem machines due to lack of spare parts. So i have gotten 2 new 17" imacs. At this rate we won't have to put in a order for more machines in 2 years cause we will have all new iMac's

Is anyone else having this issue?

There was a bad capacitor issue in the eMac/iMac several years ago. The VGA cable has been known to come loose as well.
