    Hello,

I just got home a couple of hours ago from work and I tried turning on my late 2013 iMac and it didn't want to turn on after being off for 2 days.

So I tried plugging it into different wall plugs, but it didn't turn on any other. I tried replacing the power cord and still no luck.

However I was told that there was a power surge today and one a couple of days ago. My iMac was plugged in, but off during those power surges.

Could the power surges have affected the power supply or logic board if the iMac was connected to the wall plug even if the iMac was off or could it be something else that's causing this?

What happens when you press the power-on button?
    Absolutely nothing?
    No response at all?

Does your iMac have removable RAM (door on back), by any chance?

If so, try removing the DIMMs for about an hour, with the cord unplugged.
Then reinstall them and try again.

Yes, when I press the power button I get not response at all.

I don't have it here and I took it for a free diagnosis, but haven't heard back yet.
