My Machine was one of the very last 17 MBP's (built in October 2008) CTO. So does anyone know whether it is shipped with N or G wireless Airport Extreme.

Under "About this Mac" > "More Info" > "Network" > "Location" > "Airport" it says: AirPort: Type: IEEE80211, BSD Device Name: en1

There no N or G designation. Anyone know? As I'm about to but a modem router. Looking at a Netgear DGN 2000 Wireless-N router. Otherwise I'll get the DG8348

I believe all of Apple's machines are 802.11N now and have been for a generation or two.
