Lawmaker wants Cajun Navy to train, pay fee before saving others

    Makes sense.

    If a regular citizen tries to bypass security checkpoints or bypass blockades into unsafe areas law enforcement are supposed to stop them.

    There would be no training required or fee to pay. Pretty much just a waiver that says the state and law enforcement are not responsible/liable when you launch your skiff into a hurricane then capsize and drown. They won't even try to stop you. Watch the video...

    It's a common problem for these anointed electees and the appointed bureaucrats: Only government people know how to do anything, they think. Probably beaucoup boaters in Louisiana who have more hours on the water than anybody but the Coast Guard; far more than government employees.
