Yeah, what if all the AVP discontinue rumors are just propaganda created by Apple themselves to trick opposing companies and the non-AVP owning commoners/gentiles into thinking apple has given up on AR/VR. Meanwhile they are only ramping up development for the elite class of humans (AVP owners).

Unlike other XR sites. I’m amazed that uploadVR don’t report a lot of rumours. They do good journalism by verifying reports unlike any other sites.

In reality though those pics could be of old Apple prototypes. I did a little research and there were pictures of black AVP parts online a long time ago.

Yes I remember that. But they are not like these once from this leak.

These are not "VP 2" parts. Something in development wouldn't have that many units. This is pre-production test for black but later scrapped.

Wouldn’t the headset look smaller if it was all black?

Meta uses white. I can’t think of any other reason.

Black objects appear heavier, which is one of the reasons to consider. Vision Pro doesn’t need to appear more heavy than it already is.

I Didn’t know that. But White may expose bulk and complexity more clearly.

The current design has enough black on the front panel though to hide sensors and the eyesight display.

That's like putting lipstick on a pig. No matter what, the thing is complicated with a dual headband and a hip battery.

Fundamentally, Vision Pro has a demand problem due to lack of social acceptance. Painting it black, grey, or red doesn't change that fact.
