    She is a money maker.

She pulls down hundreds of millions in play money every cycle. It gets expensive hosting campaign events/rallies with guests like Beyonce and Katy Perry.

If it were not so tragic, it would be comical.

I really wish the Democrats would grow a set and tell Pelosi to pound sand.

It's amazing she pulls in as much as she does. When she speaks you wonder if she's a survivor of a traumatic brain injury.

What's wrong with being septuagenarian? Trump is also 70, right?

She was challenged by Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan, who now better go into the witness protection program!

Regardless, I'm thrilled with Pelosi's re-election as Minority Leader. She will continue to push the Democrats farther left and lead them down the path of irrelevancy just as she's been doing for the past 8 years.

You're doing great work, Nancy! Keep it up!

I'm not sure what a septuagenarian is, but are you sure she's not a Targaryen?

The democratic party's irrelevance has nothing to do with moving "left" as, if anything, they have moved center-right steadily over the past 20 years. Their irrelevance is mostly tied to their cozying up the corporate class and largely abandoning workers and co-opting minority voices for political gain.

Nothing is wrong with being 76 years old. It's just interesting that in an era of change the DNC chose to reaffirm the status quo.

The GOP must be overjoyed that the Democrats will spend the next couple of years talking about the rights of transgendered illegal aliens instead of the plights of unemployed Ohio steelworkers.

Who's fault is it that the Ohio steelworkers are out of work, is it the state of Ohio or the federal government?

but Bernie is old as well and is not the status quo. Age does not equal difference.

I would put the blame on 2 entities equally. The unions priced themselves out of the market. Now to be fair, the steelworkers deserved the wages they were making. But the guy who sweeps the floors does not deserve union scale. Add in work rules and it was cheaper to send production to China or India.

Also the Federal Government with crushing regulations aided in the demise as well.

Isn't the steal boom also over. The majority of cities are built up at this point. There is no major construction projects anymore. So demand is low.
