    Because ... ::)

The full story on the Anchorage paper's web site said it was the culmination of an investigation. It also sounded like it was more than penny-ante dealing. The woman got felonies, for crying out loud ...

Unless, of course, this is Walt Monegan's revenge!

    The intrigue!

Too bad the governor doesn't live in a double-wide instead of a house, would have made the story just that much more interesting.

Holly Molly, I wonder which grandmother will that kid be most ashamed of? I'd have a hard time choosing, but I'd still go for Palin as the winner

Well, because it doubled the Anchorage Daily News circulation to 8,000 copies.

What other reason is there??

None. So Levi Johnston's mom is a drug dealer. It's not like anyone had high opinions of any of these people in the first place, is it? Let's see, mom's a drug dealer, son knocked up the governor's daughter. At least he aims high! :)

I couldn't agree more. If you have to explain who she is in relation to another no-namer, then that is pretty useless news information.

Oh btw, my neighbor's daughter's best friend's mom's sister from the second marriage of her father was pulled over last week while driving under the influence. I'll link you to the article.

Let's not forget that Sarah Palin used to smoke weed herself. I was about to say that all the best people like a puff now and then, but I may now have to revise that opinion. ;)

Darlin'- some of the most stupid people and the smartest people I've ever known have smoked weed. It doesn't discriminate. The thing people need to understand about that drug is how is affects them. Some people (like me), become amazingly stupid and nearly retarded when smoking pot. Others are inspired or calmed by it. It's one of my least favorite drugs I've ever tried. I hate it. I think it's horrible. It strips me of motivation. But others find the opposite to be true. Who am I to judge?

That said, I think anyone should be able to do any drug they want. All drugs should be legal and controlled.

Personally it does nothing for me and I really don't care to try any other drugs. However +1 all the same. Though stuff like Herion, Crack, Cocaine and Crystal Meths should be prescription only

I think any drug should be available to the public, but controlled in some way. Education about those drugs is key to keeping abuse low. Prohibition is completely ineffective.

I agree prohibition is a failure, but for the really dangerous stuff there does need to be some control beyond education IMO. Its midnight though here so I'll think some more and reply in more detail later.

No- the really dangerous stuff is what is causing so many problems in our legal system. That is the stuff we need to focus on for treatment, not punishment. If we only punish addicts, we lose.

not sure this story is close enough to Palin to be a detriment to her 2012 campaign. its palin's daughter's daughter's father's mother...
we could say the same for anyone. like obama's father's brother's cousin's friend was caught up in some gang activity or something. if you have to use more than two apostrophes then its too far.

Damn I was tired. By control I really just meant they should be prescription only.
