nah, happened 5 times during december already, and already back in november. i dont know whats with stock with these.
Was this purchased via Apple Store? If not what is the model ? And what computer is it connected to? THANKS!
[doublepost=1552800411][/doublepost]That’s a shame. You couldn’t return it to Apple? One would think you could return or exchange it through Apple. If one buys a Brother printer from Amazon, and it’s busted out of the box, they can return it via Amazon.
Hope LG sends you replacement ASAP.
I haven’t contacted anyone yet, will work on it tomorrow. However my assumption from the Apple Store website. Since it’s a HigherEd purchase, I hope it’s easier to deal with.

Have just had confirmation from my Apple Business Team rep that the LG 5K Ultrafine has been discontinued and that they would not be able to fulfil my order.
They also stated that while Apple is rumoured to have a new display in the works that they had no info as to the release date.

The FCC filing is the interesting one here. Clearly a new revision of the same model judging by the LG India product page. Not regional as it wouldn’t have been filed with the FCC if not to be sold in the US.

Who knows? AFAICT, there's nothing on the Indian product page that's different to the "27MD5KA" model.
And they can still file for FCC as a precautionary measure, much as they do with CE here in Europe.
I guess there's nothing more we can gleam from this unfortunately, unless someone buys an 27-inch "L" model.
Apple replaced both units and shipped them out quickly. They were made in February 2019 instead of December 2018 on the previous units with (3.06,1.13, 5237,3.04,0.1e) software.
