Hey guys, I need some help from the experts. I have a macbook air early 2015 1.6ghz intel core i5 with a graphics card of intel hd graphics 6000 1536 mb. I have a ultrawide 34 inch LG monitor that I cannot get 60 hertz refresh rate! 30 hertz is driving me freaking crazy! Pics attached.. I've tried using switchresx to get it to work at 60hertz but no luck!

HOW CAN I GET A 60HERTZ REFRESH RATE?!

What interface are you using to connect the monitor? DisplayPort or HDMI? I'll bet HDMI.
Switch to DP or mDP if you can.

Yeah, you're right, I am using HDMI to thunderbolt.
So switching to DP-IN to thunderbolt you're thinking it will give me access to 60HZ?

Definitely worth a try. High resolution video over HDMI is a world of hurt. Needs just the right adapters, cables, phase of the moon, outdoor humidity, etc.
DisplayPort usually just works.
