Hi guys,

Can someone let me know where I can find the original files for all my pictures in Apple Photos on the Mac?

I've got a new Mac and I want to archive all my old photos from the old Mac to DVD and would rather copy the original files than Export from Photos.

Thanks,
Richard.

You'll find them in Home Folder>Pictures>Photos Library. You'll need to Right/Ctrl click and select "Show Package Contents to see inside it. You should find your pictures in the Masters Folder.

Just be very careful what you do in there. You seriously mess up Photos if you start moving/copying/deleting form inside there. Much better, and safer, to just drag and drop from the main Photos window onto the DVD.
