This is wild. Red Star 3, North Korea’s new operating system, looks more than a little familiar.

You almost have to admire how utterly brazen this is. Somehow, I doubt Tim Cook’s going to get anywhere with a cease-and-desist order.

But it does raise the question of whether Apple has any sort of “back door” advantage that could be exploited. And if they did, whether they’d share that with the military.

which is designed to look a lot like Apple's macOS operating system
I could make AmigaOS, Windows, BeOS or any random Linux look a lot (well just a bit, I'm lazy) like macOS.

Wouldn't give Apple any technical leverage point.

DoJ shot down the copyrighting "Look and Feel" stuff ages ago, when MS first debuted Win95. Apple sued and lost. Besides, when has US laws meant anything to Rocket Man?

Yer right. I'm guessing it's a skinned Linux with some Fascist add-ons (keyloggers, monitoring programs, site blockers).
