    Love it!!

" I believe he's going to go in the White House. Put on a turban and kill all of us".

Priceless. I feel so sorry to admit I'm an American right now.

It's true, both camps are scared sh*tless. The difference is that the McCain camp's fear is based on lies and misconceptions -- Obama isn't a muslim, a terrorist, a Kenyan native, a socialist or a Marxist -- while the Obama camp's fears are entirely legitimate; McCain IS very old, he IS erratic and hotheaded, he HAS had recurring cancer, he WILL be replaced by Palin if he dies in office, and Palin IS an uneducated airhead with outlandish views.

Entirely's a bit strong. I fail to see the legitimacy of whether he knows how to use Twitter.

Oh yeah... I meant Obama voters in general, not these clowns in the clip.

Wait, you mean Obama isn't going to Tweet us all day long. I may have to reconsider my position.

What's going to happen in 1/2/4/8 years if Obama wins and the country hasn't imploded/ terrorists haven't taken over/everyone is a muslim?

He will have lulled you into a false sense of security. It's fiendishly cunning.

It will be the hard work of those poor republican minorities in the government keeping things in line.

On a serious note, I really hope, if he does get elected, that it helps to change a lot of misconceptions and fears.

There is such a strong element of fear-based campaigning with McCain that it does scare me.

Oh, yeah, that reminds me... I don't know if you've ever seen this guy on TV infomercials, J. G. Wentworth ("It's your money, use it when you want it" or something like that), but is it just me or does the new McCain sound exactly like him?

Funny that you should mention this... one of the segments on Morning Edition this morning was with two political cartoonists. One of them was complaining that if Obama becomes President, their careers will be ruined.

They said the same about Mandela. Don't worry, he'll be a lame duck in no time ;)

Indeed. Although, I don't think it's McCain's campaign that caused this irrational fear, but they're certainly exploiting it.

After all, many conservatives were terrified of John McCain before he became their candidate.

Their only excuse is that he's a "Muslim."

If my middle name was "Adolf", would that make me a Nazi?

I love how the Daily Show guy plays on that... "So, aside from the fact that he's not, what makes him a Muslim?"

Gee, now I realize that we really do need a president that can text, use twitter, and put videos on youtube. The recent news of me being relocated to Milan next year really isn't all that disappointing now.
