Went to the Apple Store to try them one today. Wow. They look and feel much better (and smaller) than advertised. The metal buckle did not look appealing to me on the site at all, but man in person, they are incredible.

I would say the 42mm on the wrist in person looks like the 38mm on line. Glad I order the 42mm because the real estate jump is significant, even though we're not talking about much acreage.

I know. I was absolutely blown away.
Especially by the Editions and the SS's. The shine just looks great on it.

Now the wait is killing me.

I hope I can make it...

I didn't preorder and may not get one. But I did go to try on for fun. Was blown away by the quality and look of the link. It felt like a really really nice watch.

I was on the fence with the blue leather loop, opting to get a black one instead. Went to the store and fell in love with it. Now I'll just have two additional bands

I had pre-ordered a 42mm SS w/white sport band, and got the 4/24-5/8 delivery range. I also ordered a classic black leather strap as well.

I think I have small wrist, and from looking at all the pictures online, I was worried the 42mm would look gigantic on me.

My local Apple store had all reservations taken for try-on appointments last night, but I went to the store anyways to see the display watches in person. An Apple store employee asked me if I wanted to try one on, and I said sure......she said they had try-on spots available for walk-in's.

So I tried a 38mm first, and realized, it is way too small. The 38mm definitely is more inline with typical "women's" size watches. Then I tried on the 42mm with the classic leather band, and man.......I was in love. It looks beautiful. Not too big for my wrist at all. I don't think the pictures do it justice. It felt so comfortable and sleek. Puts all other smartwatches to shame. It looks really stylish. I left even more excited than when I went in. I can't wait for my watch to show up.
