Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth

Does anybody who loves this game but has a Mac think that this game should be made into a Mac game? I think it would be awesome cause I love playing it but can't on the Mac. Age of Empires did it so why can't Battle for Middle Earth?

If you've got some time on your hands, hire a few programmers, contact whomever owns the LotR: Battle for Middle Earth property, propose a port to the Mac, port the game, then sit back and watch the money roll in.

well that is interesting, but i'm not looking to create the game and don't have the money to do so. i'm just wondering if there are others who would want the game to be made for the Mac and if it could be done if the idea was brought to the Mac owners

I know Battle for Middle Earth 2 runs fine under Wine... meaning you could port it yourself using Wineskin... I think the first one is very problematic though.
