Took these fantastic shots when out vacationing this winter break. Only HDR was used, no other color correction was used, raw camera quality. I am really, really impressed with the iPhone 4S camera quality. I'm glad I brought this as my point and shoot to my trip. Extra points for people who can spot where this location is at!

    Portugal?
Scrap that, looks more like an Asian country like Rocknblogger said below.
Very nice pic though, the 4S camera kicks ass.

Great pictures and I agree. The iPhone 4S camera is phenomenal. It's better than my 3 year old Canon point and shoot.

    The far east? Japan?

What's funny is my I bought my mom a smartphone, and I knew she didn't want anything special. So I got her an incredible 2. She loves it when I flash Roms lol! And in the XDA inc 2 forums some guy posted a thread called "why does my camera suck compared to the iPhone 4?" not even the 4S. So many phandroids

So many phandroids(I like, love android, it's openness anyway) got on there and argued to the death that there inc 2 camera was miles ahead of even the 4S. I got on there and posted some pictures and said these are good pics taken with my point and shoot- they where wowed. Then I showed them my
Photo gallery with those pic's taken by the 4s. They all shut the hell up!!

what people don't realize today is that most cameras perform well when taking pictures during the middle of the day when there is plenty of light.

Its the low light situations where its obvious that the iphone4s is still just a camera phone, it has a long way to go compared to high end point and shoots like the nokia n8 or canon s95

No phone camera takes good indoor pics, especially dim lighted areas. Not even consumer pocket cams do.

Sorry, I was thinking you were one of the disappointed ones with the camera after expecting so much. :)

nope, I realized a long time ago, no matter how many megapixel they slap on a phone camera, a 4-5 year old stand alone camera will still out perform it!
