Don't think we will see a curved case like this. But I could be wrong as with the 16GB iPod Touch recently.

Why would a plastic iPhone have a seam like that? This looks like a cheap iPhone 5 case.

Am sorry, Apple will never make a hideous phone like that, not even a discounted one.

Guys, it's probably just a plastic mock-up using drawings someone snuck out. So a lot of the detail is missing, but the general form factor is there. I believe it...

One of the sources posted accurate pics of the Lumia 925 before it was released. I think the photos are legit.

How can you discern the form factor just by looking at the picture? OK is not square

So mockup, not final shape, nothing to discuss really.

An iPhone for the China market is been rumored for months so this is yawn news.

When 5S is out, give a discount for 5 and there we'll have a low budget phone. The end.

Just looks like a powerbank or external battery. Nothing says this is an iphone, except the white cable that looks like lighting connector.

If only I could count the number of times I have heard this same exact sentence from various people about the last three or so models of iPhone that have launched.... ;)

Yeah, I don't think the iPhone 5 will be a viable option for emerging markets or low budget buyers. The leaked pics look to be around what I'd expect.

Most entitled Americans have no idea what "low budget smartphone" actually means...

Its very budget if these are in fact the actual phone but as others have said it could well be in a case or a one off prototype just testing the hardware. Perhaps Apple want it to look very different from the iPhone 5 and next edition too? They won't make it identical because that would put customers off buying the more expensive model I would have thought. People have asked for a budget iPhone and that is what they will get.

It would be a tad cheeky to condemn its appearance and suggest it looks cheap after all :p

Emerging markets, and they can't afford an off-contract $649+ phone.

No, they can't. But a low-cost iPhone is having a computer in your pocket that can do most daily tasks.
