    this rev isn't about speed - it's about heat output...

    A newer revision of Arrandale hasn't been released.

    The author says Intel expects to make a lower-power revision, but nothing in the line that it won't be a low-voltage model.

    I'd find a link to something that proves the existence of this lower heat revision more useful. I know Intel plans for quicker Arrandales but I thought they would be mere speed increases.

    The only thing that I can think of that comes close to what you're talking about is Sandy Bridge.

    Same. Nothing beyond a speedbump is (or should be) planned for Arrandale.
