The author says Intel expects to make a lower-power revision, but nothing in the line that it won't be a low-voltage model.

Anandtech mentioned in April that a lower heat revision of the arrendale processor family would be out later this year.

I believe the first batch of these shipped this week.

How long do you think it will take before these make their way into macbook pros?

I'd find a link to something that proves the existence of this lower heat revision more useful. I know Intel plans for quicker Arrandales but I thought they would be mere speed increases.

The only thing that I can think of that comes close to what you're talking about is Sandy Bridge.
