Bought a 15 inch 2017 MBP and am running High Sierra PB2 on it. The few days I've had it I had, very spontaneously, the lower third of the screen glitch out for a split second. I can't even tell what happens because its so quickly. Its not artifacting it just seems like the pixels shift really really shortly.

I am not sure if I should be concerned it might be a hardware issue or if its just software based.

Again, theres no irregular behaviour other than that. I don't get any artifacts or other display errors. I can't even repeat the error. Sometimes it will happen after an hour, sometimes it won't happen for 8 hours. I do think it mostly happened while I was using safari.

Has anyone else encountered this? Could it be related to automatic switching between iGPU and dGPU?

Take it back and exchange it.
    What could be easier?

Everything was resolved by going back to Sierra
