Still here.
My wife is interesting in buying an iPad (base model, or possibly Air) and a 1st generation Apple Pencil. This is a big purchase for her, however, and she's worried about potentially deciding it's not for her.

If I understand correctly, both items can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, even after opening and using them, no questions asked (i.e. there doesn't have to be something wrong with the product, just can't be damaged, etc.).

Is this correct?

You are correct, also maybe wait a couple of weeks. A new base iPad is supposedly coming in September.

Oh, interesting! Is there a good rumor thread about it? I'll see what I can find. Thanks!

EDIT: I see the leak from John Prosser. We'll wait a bit and see what happens!

Haha, that’s the link I just went looking for. An earlier leak suggested it will come with an A12 chip which would be a pretty big performance boost too.

Nice! If it's the base model being updated, we'll be all over it! Thanks again! :D
