M395 vs M395x (ok and M380) Fastest I can get with only rare fan noise?

What are the benchmarks / noise differences between the M395 and M395x. Also the M380. Trying to see if I should buy up or down from the M395.

Benchmark threads for the GPU's have just gotten too long to find summary information quickly at this point.

There's already multiple threads about this and it wouldn't been faster to just read it bruh.. There won't be any real noise difference, your 2015 imac will run pretty much silent at all times (unless you don't have an ssd but that's still not much sound). The x model will run a couple percent better, considering you're already paying 2-3 grand on this machine, it's silly not to just pay a bit more and get the better gpu. So just get the 395x and be happy. :)

Noise matters most. I want the fastest GPU I can get without having the fans ramp up - except under extreme conditions like high end gaming or video encoding.

The 395 and 395x have the same architecture, the X version just has more memory on the board. So if anything get the x because it won't be working as hard (and therefore as hot) to do high end tasks. But dude, noise will be such a non factor, I have a clock in the same room as my fancy new imac and the tick tock is louder than any noise from my computer haha
