I recently configured my .mac mail via thunderbird on my new Asus ( still running linux ). The laptop downloaded all of my .mac mail from the past 4 years. Now when I check mail on www.mac.com. it says my inbox is empty and all of my emails have been erased from the web.

Is there I can revert this setting or get my emails back up on the web, without having to forward 5k emails?

Hi there,
Have you made sure that you setup your account as imap and not as pop3?
Cause pop3 will download everything to your computer and will not sync with the server.
