Mac mini ugh

I went to go online tonight on my 3 week old mac mini and It wouldn't go online so I reboot now it's stuck at the apple screen and has been loading for 10 minutes with a progress bar any idea why ?

Well after 15 minutes it finally is in snow leopard I hope this mac isn't on it's death bed already. My iMac already powers down randomly :(
 
Could be the HDD or the logic board failing... That's what happened on my old iBook G3 before it died, it got really slow, crashes randomly...

Is your Mini sluggish when your using it after startup?
 
If its your drive failing - back up what you can NOW.

Before even running any additional testing - back up your important files - in order of importance.

No, I'm not teasing or BSing here.
 
well after that bar was done and it booted it works fine. Is there some kind of scandisk type feature the mac runs if something is corrupt or wrong it looked like this

Well I decided to try a reboot as everything was working fine and it's back to the super long loading bar
 
i decided to try and repair the disk this is what came up its greek to me but I'm going to try another restart.

Ok well that apears to have fixed the problem as it restarted in less than 30 seconds hope this helps someone one day :eek:
