Mac Mini won't connect to display after update

Hi,


I updated a Mac Mini (late 2012) to the latest OS Mojave, however once the update was completed it will no longer connect to my TV. All I get is a black screen.


I have tried HDMI to HDMI and displayport to HDMI cables, but neither work. I have tried it on three tvs (old and new ones).


Any idea how I can fix this?


I've tried both NVRAM and PRAM resets, but sadly to no avail.


Any help would be most appreciated!

You may try to reset SMC as well. Also you may try to boot Mac into Recovery Mode to check it out. Try to connect you screen to another device (mac or pc) to see if the problem is not on the screen or cord that you are using.

Do you at least get the apple logo when booting? If not, seems like hardware error. If yes, may be reinstall OSX?
