I've installed a 2-port 10Gbps USB-C PCIe Card in my Mac Pro 5,1 which is running Mojave and it's working well. The problem when my mac goes to sleep it ejects the harddrive which is something I don't want to happen. I've tried using the normal usb ports on the Mac Pro and the drive doesn't get ejected, which means it has something to do with the PCIe USB-C card, but I cannot figure out why? any ideas?

My other question is that I looked and some people suggests it's because of power supply, now my newly installed USB-C PCIe card has a power port, but I wonder which cable I should buy so it gets power from one empty sata of my Mac Pro to it?
