Mac Pro 6,1, how is the trade-in value determined if I replaced the stock CPU

I am considering trading my trash can in for something, but I changed the CPU from the stock quad-core to a 8-core 2667v2.
Will the trade-in value be determined by the stock CPU or whatever I have in it now?

I traded mine in and there's no extra credit for updated components. When you enter your serial number they calculate based on the factory configuration. If you have made a number of upgrades you might want to look at selling it privately.

That's really a bummer. It's almost impossible to sell the trash can locally, and I don't want to deal with eBay ripoff.
