Hi All,
Apology for the repost but hope to buy adapter and cable needed to connect my new
  • My New Mac Studio is here.
  • Apple M1 Max with 10-core CPU, 32-core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine
  • 2TB SSD storage
  • 64GB unified memory
I will connect my NEC 2690 Display for primary display until Apple Display arrives next month.
Currently connected to my 2010 MP Tower.
But the connection cable is almost 3/4 diameter! I want to connect the NEC to my new Mac Studio.

What do I need. Keeping in mind this will become my second screen when the Apple Display arrives.

Video Signal Cable (15-pin mini D-SUB male to DVI-A)
• Video Signal Cable (DVI-D to DVI-D cable)
• Video Signal Cable (Mini D-SUB 15 pin to Mini D-SUB 15 pin)

Which connection and adapter should I use for the NEC with the Mac Studio?

USB-C to DVI cable. Use the DVI-D input of your display.
Or, if you want to keep your existing DVI cable:

I have a Mac Studio and NEC monitor also. I am using the USB-C to DVI adapter and it works great!!

Thanks for the reply. I had already ordered a DVI TO HDMI adapter, will that work well enough?

Sure, assuming the adapter is bi-directional (which it normally is) as you need HDMI to DVI.
Your display's resolution is 1920x1200 so no dual-link DVI is necessary.
Therefore it should work and you don't occupy any Thunderbolt/USB ports of your Mac Studio.
The recommendation for using the DVI-D input of your display remains.
