I thought it would be useful to use this thread to collate issues/annoyances/Observations that people have encountered so far. Personally I've had a few that weren't present with my previous 2019 iMac. I'll start:
  • Trackpad gestures stop working, but trackpad continues to work (Mac Studio reboot resolves).
  • Audio plays for a couple of seconds before crackling and cutting out (reboot does not resolve, had to unplug Mac and Display).
  • Numerous applications open in the bottom left of the screen and don't remember their size/position no matter how many times I change them (not found a fix so far).
  • Sleep doesn't really send the Mac Studio to sleep, display goes off but power light stays illuminated and fans continue to constantly run.
  • Dust gathers around the base of the Mac as the intake vents are so close to the desk (dusting resolves!).
Feel free to add your experiences along with any solutions if you have them.

Only issue so far is instawake when put to sleep. The same was true on the M1 Mini so it is not Studio-specific in my opinion.

Disabling Bluetooth and using a wired keyboard and mouse "cured it" for the most part.

Otherwise, the Max Base hardware has been great, runs silently and is quite stable.

Not Mac Studio specific. My 2017 iMac does this.

This started to happen for me when I got the Studio Display. Before I had 2 non-retina displays. Now it's one retina and one non-retina display. So I think it happens because of the mixed setup.

Interesting, as mine started happening when I returned my 2nd studio display and decided to stick with just the one.
