Hi,

I was looking at the Mac Studio Ultra as it does 8 4k Monitors but only on the comparison page -- It states Ultra has 6 Thunderbolt ports but on the specs it only shows 4 thunderbolt ports, hdmi and 2 thunderbolt ports in the front.

Does anyone know how is it doing 8? or should it be 7 thunderbolt on the back plus hdmi?

Any insight on this would be appreciated

My guess would be through Daisy Chaining through a Thunderbolt monitor (example BenQ PD2725U) or using an adapter or docking station (example CalDigit TS3 Plus Dock) to connect multiple 4K monitors.

Thunderbolt can carry two display signals, so the tb3 dock I have has a Mini DisplayPort and another usb c Port that can connect to another monitor. Some dongle makers like sonnet do tb->dual video ports.

I am really assuming that Apple has made an error on the website. I hope by next week error is fixed and once product gets shipped we will start seeing reviews online

Here is the pic on the specs

Then look at this from the comparison page

Sorry for beating this issue - but even on the docs say one should be able to connect 8 4k Monitors directly.

Even their doc say it but there is a support page missing still

I already have 6 4K Monitors and getting 2 more on my end. I might have to call Apple and have them clarify it.
