I’m a college student and I will be using this computer for web browsing, office,netflix,spotify etc. At one time 10+ tabs,spotify and office will be open.Is 8gb ram enough for me or should I upgrade it to 16gb ram?

By the way I’ll probably use it for 4-5 years

8GB of ram should be enough, I would go first for the 512GB of storage

If you plan on using it for 4-5 years, I'd go for 16GB RAM and add external drives over time as needed. It might help to know also what your current computer is and how much storage you're actually using.
