Hey everybody...

I just gut a 27 Thunderbolt Display... When connected and set as primary monitor (brightness of internal Display turned down completely) things like videos on youtube or vimeo get pretty slow in full screen...
Seems like its getting to its limits...

is there any chance to disable internal monitor to speed things up?

EDIT: Just found that when replacing FLASH Videos with HTML5 videos its much better. still when multiple windows are opened and scrolling complex sites its stuttering on the external display....

I think your problem may be the HD3000 IGP. As far as I can tell, MBA 2012 users with the HD4000 don't seem to have this complaint. Can't speak from experience though.
