Hi
I'm having big problem with my notebook.
It goes down after the gray start video.
Doing the fsck this is what comes out...

Actually I do not hat the recovery Dvd.

This appened after I wrote
fsck -fy
mount -uw /

I read your post and tryied the solution but they didn't work
 
If you need to recover your data let me know. I do a lot of data recovery for people at a lot cheaper price than the big companies.

But other than that,
Macs disk repair sucks. Im mac all the way but the one thing I see a lot is macs are highly unlikely to repair a disk. I dont know why but it just doesn't work very well. I hope you get it working.

Try diskwarrior.. It seemed to work for someone else in a similar post on here.
 
MarioNapoli, that's definitely a failed hard drive.

If you're able to, you need to copy any important files onto a different hard drive ASAP. Start with the most important files!

Once you have your files safe, a new hard drive must be installed in your computer. There's no software at all that can repair your failed drive; you need a new drive.

Let us know what happened... failed hard drives are very upsetting.
 
Same thing wrong with me

this is what i get in single user mode. how do i fix this ?
my disc drive doesnt work and i dont have another mac. i need help i am in college and this has EVERYTHING on it
