My macbook pro's kernel task is going to 90 percent & it is getting hard to work with, which also makes the temp go up & fan run high..
I have found a work around which is - about this mac check your model identifier, then go system-library-extensions-ioplatformfamilyplugintext
right click, show package contents, contents, then go plugins, then click,
ACP-SMC-PLATFORM PLUGIN.KEXT, right click on it,to show package contents,
contents, then resources, then find the model of your mac you made a note of
mine was macbook pro 8.1 plist, then drag the plist to desktop which will copy it then move the original to the trash, & reboot.
this worked for me everything seems to be back to normal only thing is
have i still got full power in my cpu, i run geek bench which is giving me scores of 2000 which my mac should be around 6800, is there a good way i can find out besides geek bench
thanx in advance...
