Hi guys, am hoping i can get an answer to my problem here, Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I didn't use my macbook pro for few weeks and now it won't turn on unless the charger is attached to it, the green light comes on when the charger is in but it just doesn't charge. The min i take off the charger it goes off!

Do i need a new battery due to it not being used for so long or is there a quick fix to this issue?

Thanks in advance :)

Hmm Sounds like a bad battery. Is the battery full pushed all the way in?

Sounds like you should go visit Apple and explain your situation to them.

Its just under a year old, it was working perfectly fine before this. Is it normal for batteries to stop charging if they haven't been used for few weeks?

That's not a good sign.

When you push the power indicator, how many lights light up?

No lights show up at all!

I just can't believe something like this could happen, just because i didn't use it for a few weeks. Maybe its upset because i never took it with me on holiday :/

Any suggestions guys?
