MacBook Pro Magsafe Caused Scratch!

My sister walked by my macbook pro and stepped on the magsafe cord thats supposed to stop the computer from falling to the floor, SOMEHOW it didn't and now I have a big scratch on the back of the screen, Would apple fix it because the MagSafe didnt detach?

Try it, maybe they do it. But in the End its just a scratch.

I doubt they will fix it you have no way of proving to Apple that the magsafe adapter did not detach.

The MagSafe is a design that attempts to prevent damage. It does not guarantee that damage will not be caused.

It's like an airbag. You can still die from a crash, but your chances of survival are much better with an airbag.

That's a real bummer. She must have stepped on it just right for it to drag the computer.

As long as your computer works, count your blessings. A scratch is no fun, but a broken computer and a repair bill are a lot worse...
