    Hey there,

anyone running a 4k monitor at 60 Hz with a macbook pro retina 13-inch?

I know about the apple support page, which says no.

But then I have read in so many forums and blogs that people could run it. I can't list them all here, as it would be chaos. As I am quite confused know, I hope someone can confirm the one or the other...

So, if anyone has a macbook pro retina 13-inch NOT at 15-inch and runs a 4K monitor at 60 Hz please tell me. :)

    Thanks id advance

    Thanks for the answer!

Ok, that is again a new information. :)

And those 52 HZ can be achieved how? With the basic tools provided by apple or would I need extra software?

Concerning the 4k monitor. Would you need MST or SST is fine? I guess apart from that one needs to plug it in via display port 1.2?

E.g. the Asus PB287Q would be doing the job (I think it is SST)?
