Will it be updated @ wwdc in june?

I was going to buy a Sony Vaio, but found out it had a matte screen, so I'll have to go with a MBP. However, at my local reseller; current screens seem to be a bit dim, a bit grainy (sparkly) and have somewhat poor viewing angles. Should I wait until the 11th?

The mbp line is due for an upgrade, so I'd suggest waiting till at least WWDC, but of course, nothing is guaranteed.

Ok.

How has the upgrade history been? Do all models (mbp) recieve new technologies (like the led backlight) or do they usually start of with the most expensive one? Could price drop? ($1999 is starting to appear somewhat pricy even for a entry level pro-laptop these days.)

Apple doesn't always put in the latest and greatest, but who knows. Having profit margins above 20% usually implies not only a higher overall cost, but a higher revenue on slightly older technologies that become less expensive for the manufacturer.
