I'm hoping to nab a 16", with 32GB and 1TB SSD. Not sure about anything more than that, depends on pricing. I'm keen to splurge on CPU/GPU upgrades, but it depends.

I intend to replace my current 15" 2018, which will be donated to my parents who are still using my previously donated 2006 15"er, and a mostly dead 17" 2011 with GPU problems and a dead battery.

Looking for something with amazing battery life, and amazing performance. I'm hoping to get something that serves me as well as my 2011 17" did. I certainly don't love my current 2018 as much as that 2011. At least up until its GPU died.

I’m all in, if these new MacBooks have ProMotion.
Haven't heard any rumors about ProMotion :(. A new re-design is a very welcoming and refreshing change.

What if ProMotion is still 2-3 years away? Can you imagine the impact on the battery life it's going to make.

Agree, I’m holding onto that little bit of hope that we might get it this year, won’t be disappointed if we don’t get it, most likely happen in the next 2 years.
Expecting you to order New MacBook Pro 14" or 16" this year. Get yourself ready to sell your current one.

Finish this year strong!!!

You may have to save up for Apply Car or Apple Glasses next year or so, LOL!

My M1 MacBook Pro should be fine till then 😔 battery life should be fine, even with ProMotion, these M series chips are no joke, plus this is apple we’re talking about, they’re the kings of efficiency.

Can’t buy another 60hz Mac, especially after owning a 120hz iPad and iPhone.

😂😂😂

You don’t work for apple do you, you’re good at this getting me to upgrade lol.

Im holding my ground until 120hz is available, I’m addicted to it on my iPhone and iPad, I need it on all my apple devices.

This is the year we are expecting a massive upgrade. I can't wait either. My 2017 MacBook is a joke now. It's slow, sluggish and battery is dieing.

Dude, you will be waiting until the end of 2022 or possibly 2023. Especially the way things are going with chips not being available in the market. Next year MacBook Pro might get the same upgrade as Apple Watch 6. Very incremental and small. Little touch-ups.

Just get ready to sell your current MacBook. I'm sure you will get plenty of Australian $$$ for it :)

Plus! Craig Federgini is waiting for you to upgrade. That's why he's taking his sweet time.

I'm still rocking the original retina MacBook Pro 15" from 2012. I'm amazed it's lasted so long, given it gets used every day. It's definitely showing its age now and I'm very excited to see what gets announced this month!

Nice! Do you already know which form factor you prefer? 14" or 16"? I'm still not sure because my 13" really fits well in my backpack, but on the other hand i would like to enjoy a bigger screen. 🤔
I've had the 13" for so long I really want a 16" one, I think it'll look so sleek and cool. My 21 year old self would be so jealous 😏 I think you should get 16"... can't not be matching now that we know haha
