Well it hasn't even been 24 hours yet but initial results are the 16 can hold down a lot more paper due to its size and weight. But the 14 is much better to snuggle with that's for sure.

UPS seems to think my package is actually lost but I honestly doubt that? A lot of us have very similar tracking histories…. 🤔
I’m thankful that I didn’t have any doubts about what I wanted. I know that a lot of people have to test both out before making a decision and it’s good that Apple has a very relaxed return policy.
Now, if Apple would ship my polishing cloths ahead of schedule, I will be a happy person. I’m really hoping that they would arrive before the holidays since I plan to give them as stocking stuffers for those family members that I’ve convinced to go all Apple. 😁 Now, I just have to convince the rest, but I’m working on it.

technically according to Apple I haven’t even reached the first day of my delivery window - November 5th to 10th. The actual tracking page says it’s coming November 9th.

Now you should get hold of Apple and provide them this. If they then agree that it is lost, then both they and UPS are on the hook for sending you a replacement, and expedited at that. Additionally, you should ask Apple if they can extend the return period for you because UPS lost your Mac.

For those of us that received a bad MBP, any updates on your replacement?
I had a bad display and was told to return it and I would receive a new one in 3-5 business days. They processed the return on Saturday, so I called on Sunday evening and was told I would receive it on Friday ("That's what their internal system said"), even though the website said Nov 24-Dec 2 (and still says that). Called again this afternoon and was told "I don't have any shipping info" and "I'm not sure, but you'll probably get it tomorrow or Friday.". So my confidence in getting it before Thanksgiving is really low. It's especially annoying that I've already been charged via my Apple Card and have to pay the first payment before I even receive it.
Hopefully others that got a bad MBP are having better luck than I am.

Apple already processed a replacement yesterday. Should I reach out and try to get them to expedite it further somehow? Not sure if that’s even possible with the shipping delays.
I can certainly attempt to get them to extend the return period.
