What size screen MacBook Pro (2021) did you order?

Besides.. you would have hated Apple 40 years ago; Tan was the only color you had, and if you didn't like it, you'd have to hobble back to your old Speak'n'Spell.

Lol I use a silver and SG MBP on a daily basis, it's just that silver is my baby. And I never asked anyone to like what I like. Just some other people on here who think no one likes silver, and if they do then apparently they still don't or are lying. Anyway, it's an internet thread...nothing too serious. ;)

Having said all that, my opinion is definitely the only one that matters. Not only on MacRumors, but the entirety of the interwebz really.

And thank god I wasn't alive 40 years ago, at least we had these babies 20 years ago. Definitely my laptop of choice back then.

Hell, we actually have one major claim to fame that Macs nowadays can't: We had GAMING on Apple Computers. ;)

I can definitely feel and see the difference, as soon as my finger touched that screen for the first time on my iPhone 13 pro max, it felt like butter.

Apparently ProMotion is more noticeable on OLED, I can also notice it on my iPad Pro.

It’s definitely the smoothest on my iPhone.

The 16” screen has no faults, just keep it at 7 lol.

I'm not positive you've run macOS apps developed for use with ProMotion. Most apps for now aren't. Unlike for iOS. The ones I've run are some games developed using Metal for 120 Hz. And they are incredibly smooth, just like the iPad and iPhone. In time, the software will catch up.

Nah I haven’t, I’m a simple man, just give me safari in all of its 120hz glory 🤤 safari feels like a V8 with 4 misfiring cylinders at the moment. 🥺

Oh I always got Apple II mixed up, although I did learn enough 6502 to make a really useless game. The Mac came out in 1984 and I bought a 128KB as soon as the price dropped to $2195. another year and I had learned how to solder in new chips to bring them to 512KB. Never had a HyperDrive, but installed a couple of them. My first drive was a 40MB SuperMac XP. I eventually wrote something called BootToob, which was rebranded by Sonic Systems as “The Diskless Mac”. Me and another guy wrote the ”Modern Memory Manager“ on the PowerPC Mac released in 1994. He wrote most of it and I integrated it. Fun days…
