Seems like the arrival scan visibility was about :45 delayed from the time stamp. Most of the import scans I’ve seen happen with :30 of arrival. That’s 1:15, but it’s been two hours. So I don’t think the import is happening tonight. And with the next flights 12 hours from now, won’t be seeing the machine until Friday. Womp womp..

Typing on it right now and it's massive. Why is the keyboard so far away? I feel like I can't type on this thing. The trackpad is also bigger than my hand like wtf.
I need to dig for my picture of Flinders Street Station.. that would make a decent wallpaper as well!

It’s your second day using it, few more days, you’ll feel right at home using it.
You’ll love having a bigger trackpad, no going back to a smaller one after you get use to it.
If you’re still having issues after a week, can’t believe I’m saying this, keep the 14” model.
Next purchase should be a wide screen external monitor, watching nba on a 4:3 aspect ratio screen can’t be good. 🤦♂️
Meanwhile as most people are having actual movement…

Did they short change you as well? I only got 2 apple stickers.
Worse case scenario, you might get some freebies, worked for me a few times when I’ve had to wait longer than my expected delivery date, doesn’t hurt to ask.
Keep being polite on the phone, sad soft voice, always seems to work for me. 👌
The good thing is that 99% of the time I am very nice, calm, and understanding when working with customer service/support. I can’t imagine being a complete Karen and treating them like crap.
We’ll see what happens I guess. This whole fiasco feels so discouraging.
I already have it hooked up to a monitor when I’m at the desk. The huge trackpad is also really nice but I just use the Magic Mouse if I’m at the desk.
I just tried typing on the 14 and 16 back to back and the 14 just feels more comfortable and efficient. I can’t explain it

It charges properly once I open the lid. I can close it again, and it’ll continue charging.
