Typically there have been a firmware update with every new release of macOS. So, I've been in the habit of checking my versions after an update. With macOS release 10.14.1 today, I've had what seems to be a bug with System Information retrieving the firmware string from EFI for the Boot ROM Version. My System Information is reporting 185.0.0.0.0 on a '17 MBP TB and 187.0.0.0.0 on a '15 MBP. If you check with the 'eficheck' tool that's located in '/usr/libexec/firmwarecheckers/eficheck/' using the switch --integrity-check, then you'll get your string of the currently installed EFI which the last decimal separated set is the date of the firmware being compiled. Anyone else experiencing this on 10.14.1, whether on a MBP or other macOS computer?
