Hello:

Every time I sign in to Facebook on my new mini iPad, I have to enter my password. When I use my old mini iPad, this doesn't happen. Would someone please tell me what I need to do to stop Facebook from asking me for my password every time? Thank you for any insight.

Every time I sign in to Facebook on my new mini iPad pro, I have to enter my password. When I use my old mini iPad, this doesn't happen. Would someone please tell me what I need to do to stop Facebook from asking me for my password every time? Thank you for any insight.

Are you using the web browser or FB app?

And please, do tell me more about this iPad Mini Pro. I’m intrigued.

Hi,

I'm using the Facebook app that I got from the Apps store. I prefer the mini iPad pro to the regular size and basically you can do everything on the mini iPad that you can on the normal size. Plus it's very compact. The only thing about it is that it difficult to transfer every thing from the old mini iPad to the newer one. Here's the link to it mini iPad Pro. You can read more about it.

I’m sorry, I was being a bit of a wiseass lol. There is no iPad Mini “PRO” although I wish there was. It’s just iPad Mini lol. The Mini doesn’t come in a “PRO” version.

As for the FB app, have your tried uninstalling and reinstalling?

Just for the sake of making a comment to pass the time, I've had success fixing behaving apps by "offloading" them and reopening them (which iOS automatically re-downloads) instead of deleting/uninstalling them. The advantage is that I do not have to sign in again or redo my settings. But most users would not know how to manually offline apps -- that is, go to settings, iPhone storage, find the app and choose offload.

Of course, whatever works. I’m not against it. I just never found uninstalling apps to be much of a headache. Settings are usually restored.

Yeah, I got it confused with iPad Pro. Mea maxima culpa! Thanx for setting me straight. And no I haven't tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

Thanx for the tip, but I'm not using an iPhone. Like I mentioned it's a mini iPad and I think you meant, "misbehaving" rather than, 'behaving.'

Offloading the app didn't work. The uninstalling and reinstalling did the trick, w/o it being a headache. So, Itinj24, thanx!
