I have a MacBook 12" connected to an external monitor and use a Magic Mouse and the new Space Grey Magic Keyboard as input devices. Because the regular Command + C / V gives me huge finger strains (and I use it a lot for my work), I've switched the Command and Control keys in the System Preferences > Keyboard > Modifier keys. So Command becomes Control and Control become Command.

When using my MacBook, copy paste works perfectly fine this way, when I used my previous Logitech K810 keyboard it also worked perfectly well and now with the Magic Keyboard all works well too...... except in Citrix! Pressing left Control + C does nothing, while left Command + C, right Command + C and right Control + C all work and copies data. On my MacBook left Control + C works perfectly fine in Citrix, as did it work fine with my Logitech keyboard.

When switching the modifier keys back (Command back to Command and Control back to Control) the left Control + C and the left Command + C again start working. So left Control just doesn't do anything only on the Magic Keyboard and only when I change Command to Control and Control to Command. This is such a weird issue and I'm wondering if anyone here has encountered the same and has a solution for it.

I found out one more thing. The left Control in this setup acts as the Windows key in a Citrix Windows Desktop environment. Even when Windows key is turned off in the Citrix preferences. Very weird.
