(please excuse my lack of very technical jargon-i'm trying my best!)

To my knowledge, this problem has started to happen completely at random. In Mail.app (Version 2.1.3), all messages (inbox/sent, etc) now have tons of strange spacing in the whole "from/subject/date/to" area at the top of the email. It looks like the area with the spacing problem are the fields "To" and "From" I have tried to fiddle around with settings in Preferences, but everything seems normal. Also restarted my computer, etc.. When I selected all of this area with the strange spacing and tried to paste it into Word, I received an error of: "There is not enough memory or disk space to complete the operation" although When I try pasting it elsewhere, nothing happens. I attached a small screenshot that I highlighted the problem area with.

The problem just explained caused me to post on here, although I should have sought help earlier for another problem I've been having for a while now. Every time I "wake" my computer up from sleep (after a few hours) it appears as though my mac has been trying to Log Out all on its own; error windows on the screen reporting "Log out time has expired" from whatever applications were running and could not be closed out of without my approval to click "close/cancel", usually Safari. I have researched this problem, and tried to change around some settings with screen saver stuff. Also tried changing my Energy Saver settings around for powercord and battery.

After I close the error windows, everything resumes working as normal.

Could these strange things be linked somehow to some sort of virus? Even though I don't think it's all too likely, its just that i tried to download some file on-line the other day, and it ended up being a spam thing that i put in the trash & emptied immediately.

I would really appreciate any help or advice regarding these quirky problems. Thank you in advance!
